She's a really nice girl caring loving and a great friend and not that smarts are everything but she's very smart. And pretty.

But some people i'm sure would judge her because of her name, which bothers me, I actaully like the name it's very nice, of course it would not be my choice for a baby but there's nothing wrong with it. Well my question is, would you judge her cause of her name? Why or why not. And include if you like the name or not.

  1. I actually really like that name ;) Very pretty and Unique ! And no i wouldn't judge her by her name... Unique Rocks!

  2. i bet a lot of people would think of her as a nature freak like cares so much about the environment that its weird and no one would really like her. too bad ur name can make people completley judge u before they know u.

  3. I don't judge people by their names but by their character (what they do and say). But since you're asking, no, i do not like name 'nature' for a person.

  4. Of course I would never judge a person by their name! It's not their fault it was chosen by her parents. I think it's pretty but not my first choice in names. You should tell people what a wonderful person your friends is and tell them her name is just one of her great features! ;)

  5. No I would not.  I think its a very original name.

  6. I wouldnt judge her becuase of her name and i like it a lot its very pretty name

  7. I think it's original. I wouldn't judge someone by their name because you never know what went through their parents' heads when they named the child! (God knows some kids are stuck with awful names because of their parents bad choice)

Anyways, I think it's a nice name. Sounds green and respectful of the environment, which I like. I wouldn't name my child that though. I'm sure your friend's very nice! :)

  8. Well, that's not as bad as the name 'Virginity'. I once met a girl called that. True story.

  9. I do like the name. If people are judging her because of that they need to grow up. When you become an adult these kinds of things don't matter :)

  10. I don't like the name at all, but I wouldn't judge on that. Her parents gave it her, she had no choice in the matter.

  11. I wouldn't. I think Nature is a very unique name.

I like Nature as a name. I wouldn't name my child Nature, but I think that it is a nice name.

  12. I would judge her parents, even though I like to think that I'm not judgemental (yeah, I'm a hypocrite, lol)

I like the name, but I get that lots of people would make fun of it (even though they shouldn't, and if they have to, the insults really should be directed at the parents, not her).

She sounds like she comes from a very hippy family, but a person's name doesn't tell you any thing about the person, just what their parents are like.

  13. I don't like the name, but she didn't pick it, her parents did. So really, they should be judged by the name not her.

  14. I would not judge her according to her name.  In my opinion nature is a cool name.  But in any case, a name is a name.  I may make occasional jokes about it, but it would all be in fun.  Nature is a cool name and all that really matters is if you like your friend Nature or not.

  15. If it really bothers her, she could always go by the name Nat. People would assume her name is Natalie. I don't judge people by their names, I'm more like to judge her parents.

  16. I'd probably judge her parents more than her for choosing such a name. Choosing a name to express you creativity or convictions (hippies?) can be pretty selfish, considering that not they, but the child will have to live with it for the rest of her life.

And no, Nature is not something I'd pick.

  17. no i won't jugeher

  18. I wouldn't judge her b/c she has no control over her name.  I might judge her parents though and think they were probably hippie tree huggers.  Nothing wrong with that though!

  19. She cant' help what her parents named her so no, I wouldn't judge her by her name.

The name itself isn't awful..... but not something I'd prefer to name my child or have as my own name.
