  1. most people would use an aeroplane but i suppose you can use a boat as well


  2. If she can get an Ancestral Visa that would be in her favour.

    Then after a few years she can apply for Leave to remain and then citizenship.

    It is very difficult to get into the UK now. I have lived here 5 years and have a Indefinite Leave to Remain. I am applying for citizenship/ Nationalisation. Which I have to have lived in the UK for 5 years and take a test called "Life in the UK Test" It is such an expensive ordeal it is going to cost about £1600 to get citizenship (for myself, my father and two brothers)

    I don't know what her situation is but best thing is to phone the Home Office and ask there, you may even be able to sponsor her like you can in Australia.

  4. Does she have a parent or grandparent that was born in the UK?  If so the best visa to look into would be an Ancestral visa... otherwise it is much much harder to get into the UK these days.
