I have a friend in Morocco. I live in the US. He appled for a Temporary Visa, and they refused him? I do not understand this. It is very upsetting. Can anyone enlighten me on this a little? Or, maybe give me a reason why they would keep refusing him? He states the reason is he is not working as a

civil servant/government? Please Help me.

Thank You,

Kaloni

  1. It's hard to say, normally applicants are refused if the US consular officer does not believe the person will depart the United States at the end of his visit.

Perhaps the US consular officer believed this man intended to marry you and stay in the United States.  He'd need a fiance visa, filed by you, and not a tourist visa, filed by him, in order to do that.

  2. Quit your crying. I know American men in other countries who married women, and even their wives can't get visas. I am an american male, a veteran, working for the government, and have a christian Filipino girlfriend for 2 years now, and despite many trips to the embassy, they won't issue her a visa. So why should your muslim friend get in so easy?

  3. http://casablanca.usconsulate.gov/regist...

chances are he had no intent on leaving and may have had something bad in his background. see the info above too

he did not meet the clearance rule.

  4. My fiance and I are dealing with this same issue but have not applied yet as he has heard that it's hard to get even a fiance visa..but  the msg CCC left with the casablanca US consulate website is helpful..also, there is a visa lottery your friend may be eligible for at  www.uscis.gov...as for the nasty remark that dharma left...ignore it..it makes me ashamed that he is a vet...just because someone is muslim doesn't make them a terrorist so don't leave a msg if you can't be of any help other than your own crying...what a disgrace that he's in government...

  5. He needs to get in line like everyone else.

Or, he does not have skills we would consider important enough for him to jump in line and he is not government.

  6. his job has nothing to do, but mostly, he is a likely candidat(since he may not have a steady job?or better job) and does not show with proof (family ties, job, property) to go back to his country after visa is expired, the US feels that he might want to stay afterwords.......not going back........

    a visa is a privilege,not a right......

and the fact? that he is insisting with his demands  for visa........# why they would keep refusing him? #.............
