I have a friend that dropped out of school and is now 17.. ? what kind of jobs can he get these days?

if he has stayed at school he would be in year 12

male, well built, dropped out in year 10...

what are different options that he now has?

Low level factory work and things like cashier or fast food service.  Unfortunately that's really about all.    He could get his GED and then go to college or trade school and he'd open up many more options.

Tell him to go back to school, at least get a GED.

Well is good question first. Second if  he dropped out of school maybe he wont get a job or he will get warehouse so my point is if your friend is 17 he should go back school and study school because is a important for him. So if he go back school i am sure he will be get great job and good life.
