the person he is going to move in with has felonies on her record. She is not on probation or parole though! They are not married either! I dont know if they care about or not. My question is: is he going to be allowed to stay with her sense she has felonies on her record?

I have heard that parole officers run background checks on the person of where he is going to live and make sure its a suitable and safe place to stay!

  1. They are required to provide an address of where they will be living when they get out and yes they will do a background check on the person. Usually, at least here, they are not allowed to live with others who have felonies on their records but I'm sure the law varies by state and also by parole officer.

  2. He needs to let them know where he's going to be living, so on and so forth.

If his parole officer knows about it and is ok with it, it's allowed.

  3. no

  4. In Illinois it is okay.   I know of someone who just got out of prison and moved in with someone who has had a felony on their record.  And right now my boyfriend is in prison and he is coming home to me I have a felony on my record and will still be on probation.
