Besides, I'm a fighter...I've been dealing with G.A.D a long time...I'm on Lexapro 10 mg. now.

  2. Your friend sounds like she has got serious problems.

    It's good that you want to help her but don't let yourself get sick or stressed out by what is happening as that wouldn't be very helpful to anyone especially yourself.

She is going through withdraw.  Without these drugs in her body, her body has a really hard time functioning without them, since her body got so used to having them.  You can't really put a time limit on her withdraw time everyone is alittle different but know that even though she says she doesnt want your help she really does need you right now.  Support her all you can and just be a rock for her to use through this really hard time in her life.  If you can talk to her parents they could also give her the support she needs.  Withdraw is just the first step on the very long road to recovery and she still runs the risk of relapsing.  Please know that even though she might not need or appreciate your help now, in the long run she will realize how much of a difference you have made in her life, good luck to you and your friend
