I have a friend who is very unclean and greasy .?

this friend of mine has terrible body odour and whenever he is at my house his smell attaches to the furniture and stays there for days. How do i get him to take a shower on a regualr basis?

Wow!!! Okay if you are afraid to hurt his feelings.  Send him an email, letter or just sit him down and talk to him in a manner that is soothing.  Make sure there isn't anyone around.  

Tell him how good of a friend he is etc. Then say I have something to tell you that you might not like but being the friend that I am your friend, I don't want others to talk badly about you.  Then proceed to tell him the problem. Say to him I thought it was best that I tell you and hopefully you understand I did this out of deep love for our friendship...etc.

Just tell him straight up, dude you need to take some showers.  If you're really persistent, just buy another deodorant and say "Hey I got this extra one you want it?  It gets the ladies..."  He'll smell good after that.

(i know this is mean but) does his house have a working shower or bathtub?

Tell him that if he doesn't shower on a regular basis.......he'll end up getting pimples on his face and end up getting infections that could have him end up in the hospital. You can also tell him how you feel about it and how it affects the environment in your home. And if he can't accept it then you're gonna have to ask him to leave and to come back when...and only when...he has learned to take care of himself.  Remind him why you became friends in the first place and why it would be best for the friendship if he cleaned himself up more often in order to keep your friendship with him.

get one of those pools little kids play in, and fill it with nice smelly soap. invite your friend over and pretend to accidentally push him into the water. tell him he can shower at your place. while your at it, wash his clothes while he's showering.
