I have a frigidaire front load washing machine and i can not get the washing detergent compartment back in?

I can not get the compartment back into the washing machine can someone help me I can not find my user guide

check your cycle dial--maybe you have to move it to off or on to get the detergent cup back in

Oooh thank you for reminding me!  I have stuff that needs to go in the dryer from earlier!  Umm as far as getting it back in?  I don't know.  Try to type in the specs of your machine online.  Very often there are user manuals online.

Have you tried lifting from the bottom to see if it is off some sort of track?  The kids pull mine out too far sometimes and I have to push down on the front part of the cup to get it to slide back in.  Maybe one or the other way will help you.  My machine doesn't work if the detergent cup is in the open position,  I imagine that is why you need help.
