  1. simle answer is yes

  2. Yes, your Class C liscence only covers 4 wheeled vehicles in a certain range of weights. You'll have to add another class (possibly M), for that type of vehicle.

  3. HELLO

DO YOU HAVE CLASS P PROVISIONAL

    AS THIS IS MOPED CLASS

IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE TO APPLY FOR IT

    GIVING START DATE

REMEMBER YOU WILL ONLY GET THIS ON YOUR LICENCE FOR 2 YEARS THEN LOOSE IT FOR A YEAR BEFORE YOU CAN HAVE IT REINSTATED

THE MAIN ADVANTAGE FOR MOPED WAS THAT YOU WERE LEGAL AT 16 YEARS OLD

A moped has a maximum design speed not exceeding 50 km/h (approx. 31 mph). It has an engine capacity no greater than 50 cc and can be moved by pedals

AS YOU HAVE FULL CAR LICENCE YOU MUST BE OLDER THAN THAT

IF YOU PASSED BEFORE 2001  THAT WILL ALSO BE A FULL MOPED LICENCE,  YOU MAY DRIVE MOPED WITH NO L PLATES AND TAKE PASSENGERS

IF YOU PASSED AFTER 2001 THIS NO LONGER APPLIES

YOU MUST PASS CBT BEFORE DRIVING ON ROAD WITH L PLATES. AND CANNOT CARRY PASSENGER.

IF YOU TAKE TEST ON MOPED YOU WILL ONLY HAVE FULL LICENCE FOR MOPED, MOTOR BIKES ARE A SEPARATE CLASS.

  4. Yes you do.

  5. i think you can ride round with L plates but on the other hand im sure you have to do a cbt to get the basics and that! when youve done a cbt you can either use up the two years that it covers you for or get your full bike licence in that space of time or just use it till you get a car! therefore your not wasting money on your full licence!if that was your intention??? but yeah, im more possitive you have to get your cbt but your better off asking the experts!

    i tried! lol!

    good luck anyways!

  6. If you passed your car test before feb 2001 then you are able to ride a 50cc (geared or automatic) without L plates, without taking a CBT. However if you did pass your car before Feb 2001 and wanted to ride a 125cc (geared or automatic) then you will have to complete a CBT.

If you didn't pass your car test before feb 2001 then you have to complete a CBt before riding any bike (geared or automatic) - this will allow you to ride a max of a 125cc (geared or automatic) for two years on learner status.

If you want to ride anything bigger that a 125cc then you have to take a motorcycle theory (costs £30 and booked through the DSA) and then move on to either the Direct Access (DAS) or A1/2 licence (A1 for automatic and A2 for geared).

If you do go on to take your full bike licence then try and get it done before end of Sept this year as the practical test is changing.

    Hope this helps

    Good Luck
