I have a funny question but it's the truth?

Question

First of all, I'm a white male, so don't get any ideas.

When a typical white person hears a gunshot go off, they run to see what it was. They hear it and ask, Oh, what was that and then they go see what it was? How stupid is that? Now, if I hear a gun shot, my butt is running the opposite direction. Another scenario, have you noticed on TV white people chase storms such as tornadoes? They see a tornado, get in their car/truck and pedal to the medal they go into the tornado. Again, I'm putting the pedal to the medal AWAY fro the tornado. Why are some or most white people so nosy when it comes to some sort of danger?

Living in a country where white people are the majority (somewhere in Europe), I would say that I do not know of any black skinned people, so I don't really have an answer to this.

My guess is that it is a cultural thing AKA personal curiosity thing and not something related to skin color.

Thrill seekers maybe?  I sky dive, scuba dive, and snowboard.  I have never seen a black sky diver.  I have never seen a black scuba diver.  It is rare that you see black skiers/boarders.  When you do see black skiers or boarders, they are always on the blues, or greens, never the blacks (Ha!! I just made a funny without trying).  Come to think of it, you never see any black fire firefighters either.

I think it has to do with the way you were raised. My parents encouraged me to do whatever I wanted to and I'm still doing everything to the max and at full speed. 2 of my best buddies are black guys, brothers, we work together on a daily base. 1 is outgoing and will try out new things, travels all over the place the other one rather stays home and watches adventure on TV. Another black guy I know is one of the toughest firefighters/first aid instructor/ EMT you name it. I'm a white female most of my friends are guys because most girls just can't hang with us.

This is T.V. you're talking about. The producers could be some white hating African American or some callous white person. Just because t.v. shows one thing, doesn't mean that ALL WHITE people do this. It's t.v.!
