multiple, hours long migraines!!! I also want braces. I was told that if I get a tooth pulled then get braces, I'll just need braces again in life. BUT since I have a gap won't I have to wear a retainer forever anyways. My gaps pretty wide. Not like it's a whole tooth, but perhaps 2/3 of a front tooth wide.

I don't see it making a difference. Will it?

  1. If you're working with orthodontics make sure you listen to their instructions.  If the pain is that bad get on your care provider to step up to the plate an service their clientele.  You can never be too demanding with a medical professional if you are uncomfortable.

  2. Anyone who ever has braces has to wear a retainer forever to keep their teethe from moving back to their original position.  I would get the tooth pulled before you get braces because otherwise you would have to get a new retainer when you got the tooth pulled.
