  1. It may be possible, if the motor is a split winding motor. The label plate should tell you what type it is and also give instruction on how to do it.  Basic  case for most motors that can be reversed and are split winding type, you need to reverse the red and black leads that are numbered  #5 & #8.


  2. Can you even do it?

    I mean, is it even possible or practical to reverse an electric motor?  I didn't even think you can.

    Anyway, instead of trying that ...... is it possible to rig up a simple gear attached to a different shaft?

    I'm not really sure what you're using the motor for, but if you attatch a gear on the current drive shaft, then rig another gear to a separate drive shaft, you can now revearse the direction if you rig it correctly.

  3. There is usually is a wiring diagram either on the motor or inside the wiring cover.  It should show you which leads to change.
