I have a ge xl44 gas oven doesn't do nothing?

Replaced igniter, still nothing, but when removing old igniter, forgot to unplug from the wall so it sparked and started leaking gas, got out unpluged put the new igniter in still nothing did I maybe burn somethingelse up please Help !!! Bill

There is a good chance that the Thermocouple is bad and needs replaced.  If the thermocouple is bad, it will prevent the oven from turning on the gas to the main burners.
