  1. learn how to spell gerbil for a start!

  2. Get him a friend.

  3. get a critter trail with tubes a roll of toilet paper the cheap unscented kind plain card board boxes now back to yor last ? on box he will go crazy he knows his cage willbe diffrent just be quick and he will be fine

  4. .... are you sure its even a gerbil?okay first, learn how to spell gerbil. and you basically dont have a question here but.. uh,........ you dont have a question! you said i have toys for him but ...... but what?

    finish it gosh!

  5. Make sure he has plenty of bedding ( gerbils love to burrow!) Gerbils love to chew! Give him some old toilet roll and kitchen roll tubes, try hiding food in them and in his bedding this will keep him occupied trying to find them. Give him some material to build a nest with i.e hay, paper shreddings etc. not straw its bad for their eyes. hope this helps

  6. you need another gerbil. they should be kept in same s*x pairs, he is obviously lonely

  7. not being funny but u shoudnt have pets u dont know how to look after them very well if u keep asking question

    but ohwell

jsut handle him more or make things to do like climb and hide run through stuff u get th idea

  8. toilet tubes are good because they are free and its recycling and they love chewing them and playing with them put up to 7 or 8 in at a time and he will just work his way through them and then he will probably go about and collect up bits of the card board and put them in his bed also on another of your questions i posted some good toys etc.

  9. Have you considered getting him a male cage mate? Gerbils are social and should be kept in same s*x pairs. If you do choose to get another gerbil, please be sure it's a male and use the split cage method.

Just be sure your gerbil has different things to do in his cage, has lots of bedding to dig in, has fresh food and water, and gets lots of attention and exercise.

If your gerbil is in a wire/plastic cage, have you considered switching him to a tank? You'll be able to add more bedding. For a single gerbil, a 10 gallon tank with a mesh lid is fine. If you plan on getting another gerbil, a 20 gallon tank is best.
