I have a giunea pig who's nail recently fell off.i called pets mart who said i should take him to the vet.help

like, and it stopped bleeding, but what should i do about it?

It should be fine. I've heard you can put flower on it and it'll help...

That's what we've been told when clipping bird's wings, or trimming our pets nails..

as long as the bleeding has stopped it will heal on its own. I wouldnt listen to the advice of petsmart, they once told me i had brought all girl hamsters, 2 weeks later i had 10!

Take it to the vet, there could be an infection. And does it not worry you that it's nail dropped off in the first place?!

Why did you ring Petsmart....should really have called the vet. Anyway, take your piggy to the vet!

that happened to my guinea pig also. the nail fell off, bleeding a little. i put pressure on it. it stopped bleeding. and then the nail started growing back.
