My Ping Karsten putter is pitted in rust and i know to use wd 40 on it but how do i keep it from coming back?

I am sorry to hear about your rust problem, my mother is an avid golfer who also uses nothing but Ping putters, so I can imagine your frustration and also desire to keep your putter.  I would suggest that you use a product I represent called Jig-A-Loo.  Jig-A-Loo is a clear lubricating product that also water proofs so you don’t run into the rust issue again.  Try it out and if it works, use it on your bag and other club heads to prevent further damage as well.  To find out where to buy Jig-A-Loo, follow this link: http://www.jigaloo.com/us/e_store_locato...  I hope you figure out a way to eliminate your rust problem and maybe in the process drop your handicap a few strokes too!

  2. You can put a light coat of wax on it to keep the rust off. Just be sure to wipe it off each time you use it, slippery face of putter, equals wrong spin on ball...

  3. Either try what Brian said or get a new putter.
