It is a scrammble, so nothing serious. Would you wear flip flops or sandals on the course?

  1. Some golf clubs will not allow you to wear anything but Golf Shoes, because of dress code.

Ask around if anybody has any spare, sometimes golf clubs have spares which you can lend.

Dont wear flipflops, and if you go with sandals make sure they will stay on your feet.

  2. No. If you don't have golf shoes you could always just wear regular shoes.

  3. NO TO FLIP-FLOPS YOUR FEET WILL SLIDE AROUND TOO MUCH... I HAVE GOLF SANDALS THAT I LOVE... IF YOU WEAR SANDALS MAKE SURE THEY CAN BE TIGHTENED SO YOUR FEET STAY IN PLACE!!!

    "HIT 'EM STRAIGHT"

  4. No, you will slip when you hit the ball, I golfed in flip flops once, only because I drove an hour to golf and realized I forgot my golf shoes. I played terrible and slipped and it just wasn't even fun. Go with sneakers, every course has a dress code, so even though you are going to casually golf, tennis shoes are the way to go.

  5. heck no!!!

  6. No flipflops or sandals on the golf course. I saw a golf shoes in golf galaxy adidas and nike for $29.

  7. No.  Neither of those will support your golf swing at all which involves shifting your weight from one foot to the other.  If you don't play enough golf to warrant buying golf shoes, then wear tennis or gym shoes, but not sandals.

  8. no tenashoes

  9. I would wear flip flops, clearly you are new to the game and you might need to get your ball out of the water

  10. depends what kinda course, if its a private course i would recommend like tennis shoes or something like that, but if its a S****y normal course i guess you could wear flipflops or sandlas, but be prepared to be sliding/slipping on your swing

  11. No the golf course probably wouldn't let you because of a dress code. Running Shoes would be fine. If your seriouse about golf then you can get a good pair for under 60$

  12. No...wear tennis shoes/running shoes.

Golf courses use various chemicals and fertilizers; these don't mix well with bare feet.

  13. I played in a scramble one time and a player wore sandals.  Even riding in a cart, she developed a blister from the movement of her feet during the swing.  Also, hitting out of several sand traps almost ruined her sandals.  But if you don't want to be treated as a serious golfer and it is all for hits and giggles and the golf course dress attire allows it, go for it - be comfy and have fun!

  14. would I??  No.  Could you?  Yes, rules state that you can wear sandals, but they have to be the actual golf kind.  The ones with the spikes, I believe Footjoy makes them.

  15. No, if you don't have golf shoes just wear tennis shoes.

  16. I would wear tennis shoes rather than sandels. Some courses have dress codes and don't allow sandals.

  17. wear sandals cause there comfier on the toes to walk in and look a little smarter, the good thing about this is you won't end up with sweaty feet

  18. just wear reg. tennis shoes. some gold corses have a dress code. plus your feet will slip and all that yuky stuff!
