  1. I joined the military to fight and defend my country.  How long did you serve in the military or better yet, when did you quit school?  What is your question kid?

  2. In the UK the government take too many liberties from the working people. Almost all of our freedoms have been removed by taxation and the PC brigade, so whats left?

  3. Anyone who would deserves neither.

Congratulations on spinning a Ben Franklin quote.

The original quote is "Anyone who would give up thier liberty for safety deserves neither"

    That is not verbatim.

  4. ....

Sure, as much as I'm willing to fight global H2O emissions.

Or start a campaign to wipe out entropy.

Maybe we can end meritocracy as we know it by standardized testing while we are at it.

  5. Ok - let's have  the great question, then.

  6. Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759

If you want to be free, there is but one way; it is to guarantee an equally full measure of liberty to all your neighbors. There is no other.

    Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

The First Amendment is often inconvenient. But that is besides the point. Inconvenience does not absolve the government of its obligation to tolerate speech.

    Justice Anthony Kennedy (1936 - )

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

    Thomas Jefferson (1743 - 1826)

  7. I would give up my life for your freedoms.

  8. I have a great answer.

    Only spoilers.

  9. The way you asked it doesn't make sense.  If I give up my liberties, I am less free.

  10. That makes no sense, freedom without liberties is no freedom at all. The folks in Red China think they are free, but in reality they have no liberties.

  11. Are these traditional Liberties or the ones the ACLU allows me to have? I am a Christian I will take the traditional ones.
