  1. Yes you do

  2. Well, are you US American?

If you are an US citizen you do NOT need a passport to cross the border to Canada. HOWEVER, you will need a passport to get back into the USA ... cute hu?

  3. You need a passport to enter Canada...

  4. WOO. i'm canadian.  WOOO

no i dont think you need a pasport if you already have a green card.

  5. yes you do.

  6. Yes greencard holders need a valid passport when travel to Canada by land and/or air

  7. yeah somone said it, go on internet and search or call the border

  8. Yes

  9. you need a passport to go anywhere outside the US

  10. Call both borders and ask.

  11. no not really but if you have one, it'll be better to bring it too

  12. Depends on how you are travelling...flying...yes.  by LAND...no.    See 1st site below to see that you must present your green card...you will also need a gov't issued photo I.D.  If you are flying, you must use your passport from your home country.  See 2nd site and read section on "International travel."

You got a LOT of wrong answers from people who MISTAKENLY think you must have a passport to travel to Canada even by LAND...and that just is not true.  You MUST have a passport if you are FLYING, but not for LAND travel.
