  1. hi, First of all to make sure your not doing anything bad call the USCIS and ask them if its possible.

    i have a green card myself, and i have been trying to do the same thing, the uscis, told me i will have to wait untill i get my citizenship, and apply for a name change.

    unless you change your name in your passport in the country you was born!  but if you do got a social security number and you resident card your should try this web site http://www.uslegalforms.com/ follow the name change directions, when you get the official letter back, bring it to the uscis office and ask for a new card. but like a said call the USCIS.

  2. i dont think you can do that..iam married to an american and i have a green card but still they put my maiden name on the green card cuz its about me i am the immigrant its got nothing to do with him.he was just the sponsor
