he was dark brown then i went on vacation for 2 nights and my neibor took care of him and now hes is a tan color

  1. Thats strange. Some frogs change color because of stress also some just do it because they're sick. or just nervous.

  2. They change color with their moods, the temperature, and if they are wet or not. It's normal.
