I have a guestion about the iphone 3G?

When I go to buy the iphone 3G and do the 2 year contract do they ask you to give a down payment on money or do you just have to give your credit. Do I just take what the phone cost ($200) what do they ask you 4 when buying the iphone 3G?

Try to take a CC alongwith you . Also take all the documents that identify you .

the account holder has to be there

u must have a credit card

they will ask u for tht and ur name

phone number and ur wireless number

that u are using to replace with the iphone

so they can see if ur eligible for an

upgrade..make sure ur eligible before

u go and get it so u wont have to pay

more than u exspected

big d ... if your a new customer they will run your credit and if a deposit required  you would have to pay it before starting service. You will also have to pay for your iPhone at that time either the $199 or $299 price.

If your an existing customer no credit check is done you just purchase your phone either at the discounted rate if eligible for an upgrade or the higher rate if your not eligible at this time.

You will need a credit card to order the phone thru ATT stores OR to purchase at an Apple store, and yes a debit card works just fine so does the prepaid credit cards.

You will need your ID and if your porting a number in a copy of your bill so they can get the needed info off it.
