I have a haemoorhagic cysts?

Question

Twice now I have had two hemorrhagic cysts that have caused me intense pain. The first time I went to the ER b/c I thought my appendix was rupturing. Now, my cyst has ruptured and I've had cramps and bleeding for a week, but my period isn't due for another week. Should I see an ob gyn specialist or stay with my pcp who put me on birth control pills to treat this?

Go to your OBGYN right away! There is a reason he/she is an OBGYN. They specialize in these kinds of things. GP's don't.
