Ok I have a heart condition. I had heart surgery when I was 6. I'm 16 now and I just got an A++ report from my doctor. I might not ever need the surgery again! But yesterday I was dumb and lugged a tv from my garage upstairs to my room. Not all at once of course. But later I realized it probably strained on my heart. It hurt a little last night. And a little less when I woke up today. Should I just take it east today, or should I make a doctor appointment?

  1. I think you should call your doctor & explain the situation and see if they want you to come in to be checked.

  2. I was born with a heart condition too, had surgery when I was four years old and again when I was 16.  Because of your A++ report from your doctor you don't need to go see your doctor unless that kind of activity can cause you serious trouble..  Really, it depends on what your heart condition is and how it was treated.  If you're really worried about it go see your doctor but if you're allowed to exersice or play sports or whatever then you really shouldn't need to.

  3. Don't forget you have muscle along with that heart of yours....you probably didn't think you was using any when moving that t.v.....but it uses a lot of them....your chest muscles...stomach muscles...arms and back...and those muscles in your legs.....Your muscles are just sore for them being used....Don't panic.....just think about all those muscles that haven't had a good work out...looks like it did !!.....It's normal for you to feel that kind of pulling....it normal.....If you feel like you should go see the doc...then go!!.....Or give him a call and talk to them about it !!
