How do you know you have a high DHEA level?   That kind of test is usually ordered by a doctor (and rarely at that..I've never had reason to order one) so why don't you ask the doctor that ordered it.  This is in the specialty of endocrinology

My guess is you didn't actually have a proper blood test.

DHEA is not the "fountain of youth" that is touted by people trying to sell you supplements

Well, Endocrinologists are about the only doctors that work directly with hormones at all, but they specialize mostly with the huge variety of hormones, not just DHEA. Your best bet is to look around and find a doctor that will take a few minutes to listen to you (which is the hardest one to find)... but not many doctors have as much information about natural processes and are willing to work with you instead of just writing out a prescription. An endocrinologist  is the type of doctor that specializes in hormones, but how do you know your DHEA is high? What makes you think you even have a problem?

DHEA is a steroid hormone produced by the body. DHEA levels go down with age, and go down even faster with some illnesses including HIV. DHEA may help with immune function, increasing energy levels, and reducing depression.

Usually though a high level is not so bad.  It's the precursor to all your other hormones and is necessary for metabolism and burning calories for energy.  I bet you are young and slim!
