i have a home built 5 years now and i already have insulation in the walls but i was thinking about pumping about it aswell is this a good or a bad idea or what should i do .

The reason i am doing this is because i am not to sure if all the insulation is in this or not ,

This is serious so no false comments please just sincer ones

Some people say its going to cause dampness , is this going to happen and how would i no if it was going to . ?

Would This work or would i actually save heat with this idea.

if you have ever drilled a hole anywhere and spot tiny beads or a soft smooth foamy substance do not bother....however if it is just aeroboard or kingspan insulation then the cavity is not full and it is always better to fill the cavity. i am a carpenter and recently pumped my walls and was delighted with the result. try to find out whats in your walls though! thats really the most important thing!

It wouldn't have passed inspection without proper insulation and more insulation will likely not fit

A five year old house probably has adequate insulation properly done. If your concern is that your builder failed to insulate your walls then remove an outside wall cover plate for an electrical duplex outlet. With a utility knife cut away the drywall slightly on each side of the electrical box. Reach in with an appropriate tool along the outside of the electrical box. With a flashlight look in the opening for insulation. If you find insulation your good in the walls. I hope we're not looking for trouble where none exists.

Additional insulation in the ceiling will provide the greatest benefit and return for the dollar. First determine if you need additional insulation before proceed.

Waste of time & money it'll already have insulation in the cavities. If you add more it will be as much use as the way you  compiled this question!!
