I have a home gym, but recently i cannot motivate myself to use it as much as i used too?

How can i raise my motivation?

  1. Are you taking a good vitamin/mineral supplement every day?  If not, try that.  I do not use the gym, but I have a kidney issue that causes me to become deficient in certain minerals.  I find my motivation in general diminishes when I forget to take my vitamins and even healthy people can become deficient sometimes.  But be careful, some vitamins/minerals can be toxic if you get too much.  Ask your doctor what supplements would be best for you.


  2. well get a pic of what you want to look like than an other pic of what you look like now and put them by another.

    that normal mmotivates me!

    + being healthy is great!

  4. There are two very good ways i know to increase motivation.

    1. Set some goals and try to achieve them by a certain date.

    If you want to motivate yourself set a goal like bench pressing 200 pounds within the next 3 month's (obviously number changes depending on your strength).  A good goal like this will keep you in the gym trying to reach that as soon as possible.  When you reach your goals, its time to make some new ones.

    2. Find a workout partner or two.

    Having someone else to workout with you and push you in your workouts will keep you on track.  You can push yourself much harder with the help of someone else.

  5. I find watching videos on youtube of others doing weights motivating,

    or watching a game of rugby.

    Watching anything that gets me pumped up and ready to exercise
