it has 4 separate accounts, each one downloaded something, and i tried error checkers, like registry repair pro, and system mechanic to speed it up some, but its not working and may possibly crash. i don't have anything like pictures, i just need the basic stuff, like day one of a new computer.

  1. This is why people buy operating systems.

Always best to have it just incase this happens.

Sorry i cannot help any further

  2. Can you give more information on what's happening?

If you can get hold of a normal XP disc, you can run a repair tool on it when booting up the PC, and if all else fails you can do a format/fresh XP install.

  3. First of all, if you want to reformat your computer, you need an installation disk like Windows XP. After that, you need the drivers for your video card,LAN, sound drivers,etc..You can get that by checking the model of each device and you can get a free driver at http://www.driverguide.com . All you need is to sign-up a free account so that you can download free drivers.

    good luck!
