  1. Just bought ours right before June. Already the service light went on. Service dept said due for oil change and fluid check about $98.00. That was ok. Then the car sounded like an airplane taking off. Service department said to bring it back in. Turns out the rack and pinon is leaking and the power steering pump is out.

Another Yahoo answer person is also having trouble they bought theirs in May also here is what they wrote

I bought a brand new honda civic in May 2008. To date the oil light has came on twice, and now the cylinder head in the engine has just been replaced. There is seemingly a machine fault with part of the engine and they will probably be recalled in due course. Not happy

  2. Either or both drive axles are worn out.About couple hundred dollars at any auto parts store.

  3. Sounds like a problem with your "CV Joint". Could be on just one side or both. Either way it is a job for a reputable service technichian (or the dealer $$$$!!!!).

  4. cv shaft or joint maybe? rubber bushing i doubt... explain the problem more plz
