  1. I bite my nails too TT.TT I'm trying to stop also. I think I can help you though. Try soaking your fingers in nail polish remover or some liquid that will taste horrible when you taste it. That way, you'll be convinced to not bite your nails because of the horrible taste. Another way is to keep gloves on your hands for a long time, so your teeth can't reach your nails. I really hope I helped and best luck to both of us! ^-^

  2. there is this stuff at sallys beauty supply, called no-bite, and its for ppl that bite their nails and cuticle, so when you go to bite them , you will have a horrible taste in your mouth, and that helps you and make you wanna stop.

  3. My friend got a tongue peircing when she wanted to stop biting her nails. It worked wonders for her, because she had something else in her mouth to take care of the oral fixation.

If you're not going to go that extreme ( and i wouldn't recommend peircing unless yo0u've been looking for an excuse to get one anyway...) Theres stuff called No-bite that tastes HORRIBLE! My dad used to put it on my fingers when I was a kid. It goes on like nail polish. I suppose if you didn't want to buy that though you could always add a bitter herb to your hand soap and wash your hands a LOT.

  4. Try using clippers, and  if you must, chew some gum.

  5. I do the same thing. The best thing to do is either find the hottest hot sauce or chili sauce and rub it on ur cuticles so when you go to bit them you taste the hot sauce. Or you can take clear nail polish and put it on your cuticles and everytime you go to bite your cuticles you get the nail polish instead

  6. Go to a pet store and get some bitter apple. It's sprayed onto animals to discourage them from biting/chewing on themselves. Apply some of this to your cuticles.

It's colorless and non-sticky but taste absolutely horrible.

It worked to break my parrot of the habit of chewing his feathers!
