I have a horse/tack question..........?

I saw a listing on ebay for a "tripping" breast collar. now I am familiar with and use the regular roping style breast collars but was wondering what the differnece is between the two, or actually more specificly, the purpose of the tripping collar?

they're normally used for steer roping horses and backpacking horses.

a tripping collar is a little more rugged than a normal bc, used by many ropers especially in mexio , wyoming and tx for the actual event of steer tripping which you wont see on tv lol it's little inhumane so they wont show it
