I have a hp a288n

I have a hp a288n desktop. It quit responding as it has done previously and it wouldn't turn off, so I turned it off by the power button. When I went to turn it back on it would not start. I have unplugged everything and plugged it back in but still nothing. Any suggestions would be helpful.
