I have a hp camera with a mem. card that had 300 pics on it and i can't find them. the screen says wrg format?

I was in Jamaica and I had taken over 300 pics and i went to tak another pic and a red screen came up that said wrong format. I had not seen this message the whole time I had been taking pics and so now I can't find my pictures and that red screen error message is still there. please tell me there is a way to get my memories back!!!! I'm begging!

Get a card reader, they are cheap and very handy to use. You would put the card from your camera in the reader and open the reader as a drive in MyComputer, then also open MyDocuments/MyPictures and drag and drop your photos into the file.

It sounds like your card my be corrupted. Try the card reader, but if that doesn't work, go to www.datarescue.com and download the PhotoRescue Demo.

Run the demo, and it will tell you if there are any recoverable photos on the card. If there are, you pay $30 for a full version, and then download the recovered images.
