I have a huge bulb that looks very much like a tulip bulb but it is huge I would like to find out what bulb it

outer skin is med brown about two and a half inches high and looks like an over sized tulip bulb

Scratch it gently and see if it smells a bit like an onion. If so, it is an ornamental onion, called an allium. If not, it might be a large daffodil bulb.
