I have a husky powerwasher honda engine that won't stay running if the filter is in it...any suggestions?

It is brand new. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Clean the filter and adjust the air/fuel mixture. It sounds like it is too rich.

There is a bead of water in the fuel tank

The 11HP Honda GX340 fuel travels through a very fine screen before it enters the fuel hose.  Water will not penetrate the screen.  Remove the tank & clean.  Install a new filter.
