I have also read that I need to have Professional portfilio is it really need for a first timer or can I use a Manillia Folder? I know that I need to look professional in dress. Blouse and Skirt are high heels a good Idea too? Would Makeup help me look better? NEED HELP and QUICK.

  1. Your looks and dress should be in moderation, medium heels tho you'll be able to wear highs, later (last thing you want when you're gone, is any discussion of extreme dress)  Paperwise, you sound okay. No raucous laughs at jokes -- just cheery smiles.  Answer politely and fully but don't force trade words or trade stuff that may sound stiff.  Manilla folder is fine. He'll be looking for your real personality, your presense with his or your clients.  In other words, he's looking for the traits he admires in his best personnel..

  2. Resume is all that you need, paper wise. You can bring your references but only to fill out any applications. Offer it on request. Letters of recommendation are usually too much for an interviewer to bother with...

You might want a small legal pad to jot things down that you talk about in the interview...for your own reference.

Keep your clothes conservative and dress at least one notch more formal than the dress code of the job you are interviewing for. Don't get too dramatic with makeup. You are supposed to look like a real person who knows how to get the job done, not a dance diva. Heels are okay in some cases. I would keep them low.

For presentation, it would be nice if you could buy or borrow a briefcase, even a laptop bag would suffice. If you can't do anything else, get a plastic pocket folder from Walmart in black or navy to keep your papers in. Carry a single pen that is reliable and pretty. If you have business cards, carry a few of those too. Carry a classic style small purse, cleaned out. You don't want to fumble with anything unnecessary.

Carry your cell phone but turn it off for the interview. If you simply cannot go without it, turn off any weird ringtones.

  3. Well, First and for most dress in business attire. This meaning a suit if you have one. If not then a skirt and blouse, with a jacket. Use moderate makeup, not too heavy. Heels are fine.

Depending on the job you are applying for if its a designer or model, something of this sort you should have a portfolio. If not a manila folder is fine. Having reference from previous employers would be very good , but if you don't have it now don't worry about it, you can put them down as references on the job application.

Don't be afraid to ask them questions, however don't ask about the pay or days off or vacation time.

Sound confident in your abilities and show them you are a person who is willing to do what ever is necessary for the goal of the company.

Lastly thank them for taking time out of their busy schedule and tell them you look forward to hearing from them.

    Good Luck
