I have a jet ski that a friend beached it and got sand in the impeller. Now the ski dogs. Any advice?

gezzz did anyone clean the sand or kelp outta the jet pump?

My advice is to stop using it immediately and get it to a personal watercraft shop that you trust and get it looked at.  Don't try to flush the sand out by flushing the water system now, it might be too badly obstructed or the impeller is damaged.

If you try to diagnosis the problem yourself and run it too long without water flowing to cool the engine, you could sieze the engine, throw a rod, or burn the cylinders and ruin your engine.

Get it to a trusted PWC repair shop quickly before more damage occurs.
