  1. yeah say a prayer while you there!

  2. 1. Research the company that you may be working for. Have knowledge of their products / services and their competitors. Locations of their operation / markets. Have particular knowledge of the area of the potential job if possible

    2. Look the part

    3. Be on time

    4. Be polite, Please and thankyou's, sit when asked etc

    5. Try and be relaxed

    6. Have a few question in your mind for when they ask any further questions

    7. Don't ask about pay etc, wait til your offered the job.

    8. Listen to the interviewers question and answer them as opposed answer a different question !

    9. Don't be afraid to blow your own trumpet, in the past I did this, I did that....

    10. Good luck.

  3. Know as much as you can about the company you are interviewing for.

You don't have to mention about just coming from church unless it is appropriate.

Make sure you are clean and tidy, don't forget to give your shoes a wipe over.

When asked if there are any questions always try and ask one, even if it is only how many people will I be working with.

Don't be too chatty nor too quiet.

When leaving the room shake their hand and say thank you.

Try not to be too nervous or over confidant.

Don't whatever you do go to the bar for a quick one before the interview.

    Good Luck.

  4. wear a cross around ur neck

  5. As an employer I interviewed many people for jobs and as a lecturer  many potential students. Interviews are much the same for any type of job.

Generally, you need to look smart; be polite (I doubt you need telling those); answer their questions honestly; if you're not sure how to answer a question don't be afraid to say something like "I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand the question" that's much better than risking sounding like a fool; don't speak too fast; it's ok to show you're a bit nervous as interviewers are used to this. Before going to the interview try and think of something to ask them relevant to the post you're applying for (not just how much is the pay?); show a keen interest in the post even if it's not really what you want to do.

    Good luck
