I have a job offer in London. How much of tax have I got to pay if I get a pay of 500 Pounds a week.?

  2. 26,000 pa

    personal allowance of 5435 = 20 565 taxable at 22% = 4524.30 tax per year = 87.01 per week

    National Insurance = 500 - 105 - 395 * 11% = 43.45 per week

    Pay 500 - 130.46 = 369.54 cash in bank per week

  3. ok at the moment it would be £26000 for 52 weeks.

    first £5225 is tax free.

    £2230 is taxed at 10%= £223

    remander £18545 is taxed at 20%= £3709

    so total tax: £3932 but that's not includin NIC!!

    the joker: i am currently doing AAT and the way i worked it out was how i was taught too... i am sorry if this infowas incorrect but that's the best i could do!
