  1. Go to this site below and you will be able to read up on all the different visa options depending on how long you want to work, where, qualifications, and your status generally. It varies depending on all these things. You can come on a tourist visa but will need the correct visa for your job and circumstances if you want to work. The person who made the job offer can sponsor you.

  2. Contact the New Zealand Embassy in London.

  3. my partner came to NewZealand on a tourist visa, he was offered a job and then he applied and was granted a Work Permit, he can apply for a work to residence visa........ so in answer to your question from personal experience..... YES YOU CAN!

  4. GOOD LUCK!! im going through the very process now! Ive been here 3 years, have a good job and earn a very good wage but have just been told that my visa may be denied, depends what job you do and where your going to live.Anywhere  outside Auckland earns you more points.Check if your job is on the shortage list  if its not then its a hard task to get residency.u must have a 2 year contract and earn over 55000.If your  in a shoratge area then your home free.they will snap your hand off.Check immigration.govt.nz

good luck- i think u may need it.its not easy beleive me.

get our visa befor you come as when you enter the country if you say  your here to work they will check for your visa but you wont have one so access will be denied, if you then tick holiday they wil  then check on you and find out that youve lied!!!! i was told this today!!

  5. No. You need to apply for either a work visa or immigrant status. Since you already have a job offer, your employer can provide some assistance in getting this granted. Contact the nearest embassy office for more information (and good luck)

  6. No you will need that contract and offer for the job to be able to get a working visa.

If you there on a tourist visa then get the job then you need to get out of the country and re inter with the new working visa.

  7. Email me with the details and I will let you know details I work in this area. You can come here on a visitors permit and look for work but you cant start working until you have a work permit.

You need a genuine job contract offer in Writing and if your offer is genuine that shouldn't be a problem.

You don't have to leave and come in again as long as you apply before your visitors visa runs out

You can email through my user profile here. Do it. I can provide the exact advice you need.
