I have a junked (completely totaled) 2006 cbr 600rr. Anyone know where i can start lookin for parts!!!???

But i'm willin to go anywhere to get it. Its eventually gonna be a project for me and my little brother (to get him out the streets). Bonding type thing.

  1. wherever they take the empty plastic milk jugs, that's all your bike is made out of anyways

  3. Yeah,there's a guy down the road from me.You need to add where you are from.

  4. Well, if it's totalled, then there's nothing left. Get a new bike. What are you going to spend a year or two putting it back together, then find you tweaked the frame?  

  5. Two best places, besides Ebay, are auto/cycle salvage/junk yard, and a local sportbike/motocycle forums.  Make sure you check local laws for registering a salvage titled bike.  Sometimes local gov't wants pictures of the rebuild, receipts for parts, special inspections etc.  Irrelavent if you want to track the bike though.    

  6. online cycle trader always has salvage bikes and stuff people are parting out. Dennis Kirk.com or craigslist.org is a great place to look.
