I have a jury duty selection process on tuesday?

and i have some questions

how long does it take?

what should i wear?

if i get excused or accepted on the first day do i have to go back the second day?

ne thing else i need to know?

if you want to do it dress professionally... no uniforms.  Sometimes takes all day or more. If you don't want to show that you have a strong opinion of guilt or innocence during the process

but it will probably take most of the day depending on the size of your county and the size and complexity of the case. they will  need to filter out any jurors who may be biased, which i dont understand cuz thats the whole idea, a jury of your peers, but w.e

wear something comfortable, especially the first day, and bring a book or something to do, there is alot of waiting involved. but still look nice, you will be in a court house. and i wouldnt recommend wearing anything that will identify you, such as a sweater with your name on it- just to be on the safe side.

if you are excused the first day you're done. if not, they will tell you when to come back. it will probably be the next day, again depending on the case

make sure you are honest with everyone involved so as not to waste any more time than necessiary. tell your boss where you are going and why. be sure to file all the right paperwork, alot of employers will pay you for days missed here, and enjoy and learn! this is a great experience!
