I have a jvc camcorder it works in the house ok?

but when i go outside the screen goes white as ifit is lettingin to much light any ideas whats wrong

Which Model?

Some come with a manual iris control, if it is set to open then the brighter environment outside will wash out the image.

Find the model then Google the item and you will come across an instruction manual on-line.

Use the camera's menu to increase the contrast and reduce the brightness of the screen, if you are shooting straight into the sun then switch on the backlight control.
