I have a kawasaki atv and it has a irregular idle what do i need to check for?

My husband says, just never slow down, that way you don't have to worry about the idle.  I say, " just wear a helmet".  You do need to give a little more info.

if your idle is low and it sounds like its about to die....raise up your idle. your timing might be off also

you really need to describe the symptom a little better, but the first thing i would do is replace the spark plug, its cheap, and easy to do. If it still exists, i would use a good fuel cleaner, like Marvel Mystery Oil, in your fuel. It is VERY important that you do not use too much of the cleaner.   Marvel Mystery Oil, is the easiest to use, cheapest, and most effective cleaner i know of. you can get it at walmart for 3 bucks-ish .- its great stuff.
