I have a kenmore refrigarator

Question

I have a kenmore refrigarator and it is about ten years old or more but it has been a good appliance until the water going into the the ice maker and cold water dispenser would not shut off and i don't how bad the leak was but i found the entire freezer frozen over so bad that i couldn't even pull out the racks /dawers in the freezer. What could be my problem?
