I have a landline number and i want to know the address of where this landline is. How can i do this?

i have a telephone number, and a location but no actual address :( is there any site i can go on to find the address? many thanks in advance :D

White Pages.com  . Click on reverse look up. put the number in. If it's not a private number,it will show you whose number it is. the click on the map. That will give you the address. Good Luck

As others have said, you can't find this out.  I wanted to do exactly that, had the phone number of a friend and wanted to find out where they lived but it's not possible.  Ring the number and ask is all you can do.

you can find out what location the dialing code is from, but not an actual address for that number

Ring the number and ask..  They might give a name when answering the call.  You could then possibly refer to  phone directory to get an address.

Go to 411.com, and click the Reverse Phone tab. It will give you the name and address for that number unless it is an unlisted number.

You can't without trawling throught the local phonebook for the number.  It's not legal to give out that information with what you've got and no-one at bt would give it to you.

go to yellowpages.com and click on "find a person", then click on phone number, then enter the number and presto you have the person and address or if not in the U.S. you can use your local phonebook yellow pages website
