I have a laptop connected to a dsl modem and router, I also have a desktop I want to hook up to the modem?

The desktop computer does not have an ethernet connection, only two phone lines, question is : do you buy an adapter for this?????

By a PCI ethernet card,they are dirt cheap these days. Then you can connect the desktop to the router using an ethernet cable.

You can buy a USB Wi-Fi adapter for a few bucks IF your  Router is wireless, then you dont have to worry about doing any minor surgery to install anything, or worry about wires everywhere.

You have to buy one of these 2 things.

1-USB wireless card or PCI wireless card that you will be installing back of your desktop.
