I have a large birthmark on the right side of my face. ?

Can anyone give me some advice about how to cover or remove the port wine stain birthmark that covers the whole right side of my face?

There are more options open to you than surgery. Medicine advances so much all the time. I would start by seeing a dermatologist and ask for options.  I do know there is laser removal available now and also people who specialize in training people such as yourself, or people who are burn victims, how to apply make up that when applied correctly will completely cover your birthmark. I am confident that a dermatologist would be able to recommend you to someone that specializes in either of these non-invasive options.

Port wine Stain Birthmark can be removed or diminished with Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL).

I have a friend that has a huge scar running down her face and she used to hate it and always try to cover it up until one day she realized that shes lucky to even be alive and she has now made peace with it.

In one of the seventeen mags they have an article about how to make peace about your insecurities.

Your birthmark is part of who your are and even though it might be hard you should be proud of it =) learn to embrace it and it won't matter if people stare or what they think.Be comfortable with yourself. It makes you stand out, you are unique!

But remember to look after it and always use sunblock.

I'm not sure if you will be able to cover it up completely but until you learn to love it you could try to use a foundation and compact powder the color of your skin tone.

Be proud of your birthmark nobody in the world has one like you. I'm sure you're still beautiful inside and out=)

you could try some concealer and foundation

it won't make it go away but it might make it less port wine stain more darkish pink??

Yoy cant get rid of a nirthmark unless you get extensive surgery which is pretty costly.

I shouldnt have to tell you but a semi dark foundation will help,just dont rub it in so much or the mark will start appearing again. But a foundatin that is in between to your skin tone and the mark.
