  1. A tank at least 20 feet by 100.

nurses get 10 feet after all.

  2. your nurse shark will get b/w 7' and 10' long.  That means you will need to custom build an aquarium of a minimum length of 30' x 12' x 15'.  That also means you will need to insure that the floor can support the immense weight of a 40,395 gallon saltwater aquarium which would be approximately 355,476lbs for just the water.  When you add in the sand, rocks, filters, tank, lights, shark, etc, you're probably up to about 360,000lbs (180 tons).

This will be quite an expensive project for you to undertake.  If you have a house big enough, hopefully you have a budget big enough.  Most petstores that sell Nurse Sharks sell infant sharks that are still about 12-24" long.  They will eat quite a bit and grow rather quickly.  I suppose you could get away with coming to an agreement with your local zoo/aquarium about taking a half grown Nurse Shark off your hands when you shark outgrows your tank and in the mean time buying a 280+ gallon fishtank from your petstore or having one built for you and keeping the baby shark in it until it gets too big.

Even still, a 280 gallon aquarium will weigh almost 2 tons and will run you a considerable penny.

  3. well its gonna take alot of food all really need to do is go to the super market get tons of raw meat but u'll also need to clean the water like once every 2 weeks depending on how big the tank is

  4. As the nurse shark gets so big  you will need a saltwater tank that is 1000's of gallons so the shark has room to move around and you will need to set up the correct habitat so that shark is healthy and happy.

  5. you need a HUGE tank to keep a happy shark, also they will die pretty easy and are very expensive, they are recommended for experts, only, you should be prepared to dish out about over a thousand dollars for the tank and all. well over.

  6. you will pay more that 3grand on the fish tank and (Maybe)the fish discretion. The shark might be hard to find and expensive.

  7. you should NOT get one those things they are HUGE and it doesn't matter how big of a house you have it would need something bigger than a whole room and a whole POOL and that whouldn't even be enough you whould be torturoring the animal  if you kept it it is ment to be in the wild and your parent's would not let you get one and where would you get one and it would need way more than a 100 gallon tank

  8. I'd have to agree. Most shark species best left in the ocean not in aquaria.
