The pipe is wet and there is a small amt. of water on the floor of the garage. The ceiling is also wet and I had to patch it up for the time being. But the water is now leaking out from under my eaves on the outside wall. The only way I can turn off the water is by the main faucet and then I won't have any water in the house. I think I'm going to scream if it doesn't stop. Don't know if it's the roof or the pipe. Also looked up in the attic crawlspace and everything looked dry. Please someone who has experience share with me.

  1. sounds like a a broken pipe  you will have to expose the pipe where it is leaking  , sounds like you already have  sheetrock to replace just cut  open  the ceiling where you think the pipes is an see what is going on . did it just suddenly start leaking or was someone doing some work somewhere  on the house . maybe outside and nailed something through and hit the pipe ? if it is raining outside it very well could be your roof

  2. If those areas you mentioned are still wet even its not raining, then the leaks come from your pipes. And since it is only the main valve that controls the whole water system of your house then there is nothing you can do but call  help from a professional  plumber. Most likely your pipes are corroded or you they have lose/leaky joints......
